The Brammo Empulse electric motorcycle looks like something out of a comic book, all angles and bright colors. But it's a real-deal electric bike, and one that can hit 100 mph to boot.
Clocking in at about 390 pounds, its a much lighter ride than most sport bikes. Its 55 horsepower engine with 59 pound-foots of torque is also less than one generally sees on a speedy motorcycle, but the fact that the torque is there from a standstill and the bike is so light should make up for it.
The Empulse is due to ship to customers next summer.
